Aselam Aleykum. My name is Mrs. Naila Din. This is my first year at As-Sabeel Academy as a full time teacher, however, I have substituted here many times before. I am very excited to begin the upcoming school year and look forward to meeting all my wonderful students. As the social studies and science teacher I hope that learning these subjects will allow students to become closer to Allah (swt). I graduated from Gomal University in D.I. Khan, Pakistan in 1986 with a bachelors in math and statistics.
Originally from Pakistan, I immigrated to the United States in 1989 and lived in many states before settling in South Carolina in 1994. Alhamdulilah I have been blessed with three boys who are currently 21, 18, and 12 years of age. I love nature, travelling, and am a particular fan of the Discovery and National Geographic channels. I also have a passion for history and understanding the events which have shaped the world we live in.
There are a lot of exciting projects and lab experiments I am planning for the children. Inshallah I am looking forward to having a wonderfull year with the students of As-Sabeel Academy. With your support, Inshallah my goal is to put these children in the best position to succeed.
