As-Sabeel Academy was established in 2008 as the first full-time Islamic school in the South Carolina upstate. Acknowledging that our children deserve more than the basic secular education they receive in public schools, As-Sabeel Academy aims to develop in its students a love of learning, academic excellence, and a balanced character founded on the principles of Islam.
As-Sabeel Academy endeavors to provide an integrated religious and academic education in order to develop a dynamic and whole individual. The curriculum aims to provide balance in all aspects of development.
All grade levels are taught Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies in addition to classes in Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and other courses taught according to the Greenville public school curriculum. As-Sabeel Academy is fully accredited by the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA).

Mission
To become an established and accredited full time primary school, starting K4 through 1st grade in 2008 and adding a grade each year until graduation in 2013.
What We Offer
As-Sabeel Academy offers your child an opportunity to receive a strong academic and Islamic education in a fostering environment. We use the same academic curriculum as the public schools, but with a much better Teacher-Student ratio. We also provide them with Arabic and Islamic Studies courses.
We recognize that each child is unique with respect to the physical, mental, emotional and socioeconomic aspects of life. The school’s intention is to observe, appreciate and respect these differences.
