Assalamu alaikum All.  My name is Fareeha Munawar.  I was born in Iran, spent part of my childhood in the cities of Badr and Medina, Saudi Arabia, and grew up in Lahore, Pakistan. I graduated with a Bachelors in Architecture from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. In 2000, I moved to Idaho, US and since 2005 I have been living in SC. Alhumdulillah, I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and three beautiful kids.

My passion in life is to serve others and I see this very strongly tied with serving Allah. I am involved in variety of activities in the Muslim community ranging from sisters’ club to helping reverted Muslims. I also like traveling to new places, reading and spending time with my family.

This is my first year teaching at As-Sabeel Academy and I am very excited about it. I have several years of teaching experience as a homeschooler. I also taught for a number of years at the Islamic Centers of Clemson and Greenville and was the Principal for the Clemson Weekend School.

As a teacher, my main objective will be to give my students a well-rounded educational experience. My efforts at school will only make a lasting change in the children if they are backed by parental efforts at home. Insha’Allah, I look forward to a great fun filled year.

Aselam Aleykum.  My name is Hatice Yildirim.  This will be my second year at As-Sabeel Academy and I am very excited about it.

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Physics Education in Turkey. I have been in the U.S. for twelve years. I have three years of teaching experience in the U.S. and one year in Turkey. I also taught in some volunteer positions. Teaching at As-Sabeel is an exciting opportunity for me to learn and discover different fields of science with students and also work in such a nice environment.

I am the mother of one adorable daughter and two very active boys.  I look forward to having a successful school year with my students.
