My name is Shameem Hussain-Ahmed and Inshallah I will be teaching first grade this year. I have been living in Greenville for the past five years and I have grown to love this place. I am a mother of two boys and a girl.
I was always fascinated by science and received my Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology in 1993 and have also done some diploma courses in medical coding. I enjoy working with children and have also done some tutoring. I have also volunteered at my children’s schools and have learned so much there.
This will be my first year at As-Sabeel Academy and I am very happy and excited about teaching first grade. I believe first grade is very important for a child as it sets a foundation for the coming years. As the saying goes, “A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination and instill a love of learning”. I will work hard to provide the best learning environment for your child where he/she can grow with endless possibilities.
Communication is the key to a child’s success at school and I would welcome any feed back from you. Inshallah, I am looking forward to a wonderful year ahead.
