Mrs. Johnna Malici
Mrs. Johnna Malici is the Principal of As-Sabeel Academy. She has a B.A. from Baker University, a M.A. from Arizona State University, and received her teaching certification at Furman University. She has been working as an educator for more than a decade, having worked both as a Teacher and Principal. Mrs. Johnna began her career as a Teacher in Greenville County public schools and joined the Faculty of As-Sabeel Academy in 2010. She became the Principal in the spring of 2012 but has continued to to teach. Mrs. Johnna has two children, and a loving husband who is a Professor at Furman University. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Shiam Harsho
Mrs. Shiam Harsho is the Vice Principal of As-Sabeel Academy. She has a B.A. in English Literature and a M.A. in Literary Studies. She taught four years at the University of Aleppo before immigrating to the United States. In Dearborn, Michigan, Mrs. Shiam taught Arabic and Islamic Studies for 2 years. Mrs. Shiam was one of the original faculty members of As-Sabeel Academy back in 2008 and has 16 years experience as an educator. She became the Vice Principal in the spring of 2012. Mrs. Shiam has two children, both of whom are As- Sabeel alumni, and a loving husband who is an Engineer at BMW and serves on the As-Sabeel School Board. She enjoys reading and traveling.
