Administration

Mrs. Shiam Harsho is the Principal of As-Sabeel Academy. She has a B.A. in English Literature and a M.A. in Literary Studies. She taught four years at the University of Aleppo before immigrating to the United States. In Dearborn, Michigan, Mrs. Shiam taught Arabic and Islamic Studies for 2 years. Mrs. Shiam was one of the original faculty members of As-Sabeel Academy back in 2008 and has 20 years of experience as an educator. She became the Vice Principal in the spring of 2012 and the Principal in 2021. Mrs. Shiam has two children, both of whom are As- Sabeel alumni, and a loving husband who is an Engineering Manager at BMW and serves on the As-Sabeel School Board. She enjoys reading and traveling.
